OAHU CHAPTER MONTHLY LUNCHEON

May Topic: When it’s Time to Call it Quits – Negotiating Owner/Tenant/Vendor Relations

Speaker: Carl Frazier

Do you have a tenant who always pays rent late? Do you have an owner who takes forever to reimburse you? Do you have a tenant that is very friendly and pays rent on time but can’t seem to follow the house rules? Have you ever felt your owner was putting you in an impossible situation? Come hear first hand how to negotiate the fine line between keeping your unit rented, your owner’s happy and yourself mentally sane. This topic will focus on some key “Red Flags” to watch out for regarding prospective tenants, occupying tenants, owners and vendors in hopes of avoiding issues and staying out of court. You will also get first hand examples of past situations involving potential issues and how to resolve them. Finally, you will have the opportunity to ask your own property management questions.

Carl Frazier, R, RMP, is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cornerstone Properties and has been managing quality properties on Oahu for over 20 years. As a leading expert in the property management field, Carl is a contributor to the Tenant/Landlord Q&A newspaper articles in the Honolulu Star Advertiser, speaker at the NARPM National Convention, guest on local radio talk shows, and an expert witness in local court cases.
